class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>The La Gamba Biological Corridor (COBIGA) in southern Costa Rica creates new habitat for animals and plants and protects biodiversity in the Austrians\u2019 Rainforest.<\/strong><\/p><p>This project contributes to climate protection by <strong>reforesting agricultural fallow land with native tree species<\/strong>, or by protecting existing rainforest areas outside the national park and using them as <strong>buffer zones for Piedras Blancas National Park<\/strong>.<\/p><p>These areas become part of the <strong>La Gamba Biological Corridor<\/strong>, which connects the lowland rainforests of the Golfo Dulce with the mountain rainforests of the Fila Cal and, beyond that, with the forests of the Cordillera Talamanca.<\/p><p>The La Gamba Biological Corridor is part of the organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sinac.go.cr\/EN-US\/correbiolo\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u201cBiological Corridors of Costa Rica\u201d<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div
