As part of internships and volunteer placements<\/a>, or through the Austrian overseas service<\/a>, the La Gamba Tropical Research Station<\/strong> offers you the chance to actively take part in the project <\/b>La Gamba Biological Corridor (<\/b>COBIGA)<\/strong><\/i>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the reforestation areas<\/b>, the Tropical Research Station runs the Finca Modelo<\/i>, a permaculture farm<\/b>. There you\u2019ll find a seed bank, a tree nursery for reforestation, lots of chickens and quails, and two pigs. Various crops are also cultivated.
