An eventful year is coming to an end. 2025 was shaped by commitment, collaboration, and many visible successes in nature and climate conservation. We’d like to use this moment to pause—and above all to say thank you. Thank you to you, our supporters.
Your solidarity, your trust, and your financial support make possible what matters most to us at our core: practical, effective protection of rainforest, biodiversity, and climate.
Over the past year, we were able to make significant progress thanks to your support. At Hacienda El Dorado, several thousand trees were planted—an important step for reforestation, climate protection, and the long-term stabilisation of sensitive ecosystems.
Another milestone was the completion of the “Rancho” observation tower. It opens up new opportunities for research, monitoring, and environmental education. We’ll be sharing the first photos with you soon—we’re really looking forward to giving you these insights.
Especially encouraging are the signs from the rainforest itself: Our camera traps captured a tapir, and most recently fresh jaguar tracks were discovered. Observations like these are not a given. They show impressively that protected, connected habitats are being used—and that our work is making an impact.
All of this strengthens our confidence in the path we’re taking together: We’re on the right track.
We’re looking ahead with great confidence. The next important milestone is already in preparation: the purchase of the next finca. It will be another key building block for the long-term protection of the rainforest and for strengthening the biological corridor. Our goal is clear: not only to offer protection to the rainforest and all its inhabitants, but more space to thrive and to continue living there for the long term.
