New footage from one of our camera traps tells a particularly charming story: It shows two ocelots (Leopardus pardalis) playing exuberantly and relaxed together. Whether the two are siblings simply romping around together, or a couple just beginning to approach each other – that’s left to the viewer’s imagination. 
One thing, however, is clear: such heartwarming moments are a valuable sign that our protected rainforest is a safe and vital habitat for these fascinating animals. Here, they find everything they need to hunt, play – and perhaps even to start a new generation. 🌱
