We are very pleased to introduce our two new team members: Ingrid Fankhauser, MA and Anita Marilovic, BA. Both bring not only extensive experience and expertise, but also a great passion for the rainforest and its future.
Ingrid studied Interdisciplinary Latin American Studies and now coordinates Latin American research at the University of Vienna. Alongside her academic work, she is drawn to nature time and again – whether to the rainforest or to her alpine pasture in Salzburg. Since 2025, she has supported the board as treasurer, combining her expertise with her love for the rainforest.
Anita studied Human Resource Management at FH Wien and brings years of experience in finance, controlling, as well as quality and risk management. She already knows the Rainforest of the Austrians from an impressive visit to Costa Rica that left a lasting impact on her. Since 2025, she has strengthened our team in administration, website maintenance, and donation management – making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
