Turtle protection on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast

Together for sea turtles: protection, education, and hope on Costa Rica's coasts.

As in previous years, we are supporting the Fundación Corcovado with sea turtle conservation in Costa Rica. This year’s season impressively shows how much can be achieved through commitment:

  • 178 people worked together to build a new hatchery

  • 25 olive ridley sea turtle nests were secured

  • 10 beach cleanups carried out

  • Environmental education information events successfully launched

👉 The project combines species conservation, environmental education, and community building – an example of how nature conservation has a sustainable impact.

If you would like to support this work, you can do so with a donation for species conservation. Every contribution helps to ensure the long-term protection of these fascinating animals.

📸 Here are a few photos and videos from Fundación Corcovado that give an impression of the valuable work on the ground.
