Climate Protection

for a stable future

Climate protection concerns us all

Climate protection costs money

Climate protection is the umbrella term for measures that counteract human-caused global warming and are intended to mitigate or prevent possible consequences of global warming. An important threshold is the two-degree limit, which must not be exceeded if catastrophic impacts of global warming are to be avoided. Preventing dangerous climate change is considered one of the greatest challenges facing human civilization.

Our goals are to combat global climate change. This requires both land purchases and reforestation.

Since 2016, the Tropical Station has been solely responsible for the COBIGA project. Donations to the Regenwald der Österreicher association are forwarded to the Tropical Station for designated purposes. We receive an annual report on the use of donations.
